The Dance Center

   The Dance Center is a family owned business opened by Corrine Martin in 1965. Located in West St. Paul, it is easily accessible from many surrounding cities including St. Paul, Eagan, Mendota Heights, and Inver Grove Heights.

 

   Corrine Martin, owner and artistic director, has been teaching dance for over 50 years. Jennifer Haider, Corrine’s daughter, is the Ballet Director at the Dance Center. With over 15 years of classical ballet training she is an accomplished choreographer and teacher. This mother and daughter team, along with their talented and well-trained faculty, make up the teaching roster of The Dance Center.

 

   The Dance Center promotes self-esteem and discipline through the love of dance. We offer classical ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and boys classes, along with teaching the dad’s annual class.  We have a family atmosphere at The Dance Center and Corrine is now teaching the 3rd generation of students.

 

   The Dance Center offers an annual Spring Performance in June to showcase the dances students have been learning since September. Classes are also offered during the summer months to expand on student’s technique and knowledge.
